Welcoming over 1000 guests this morning at the Sapphire Pavilion at Sentosa to a day of fun, games and food galore! We started the morning with a light workout to warm and "oil" everyone's joints and muscles. An exciting telematch took place with the spectators cheering for their favourite team!

We had fun and games, with the signature "Selfie Game"! There was also sandcastle building contests and beach volleyball matches too. Everyone had so much fun despite the hot sunny weather!

Finally it's time for free and easy, spending the day with their families in Sentosa.

I am honoured to host the National Day Observance Ceremony, as part of Singapore's National Day Celebrations. Together with the management and staff of Cameron, our Guest of Honour, Mr Desmond Lee and invited guests from Singapore Economic Development Board and Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Employees' Union joined in this significant event.

About Cameron Drilling Systems facility (Tuas South)

On 22 May Cameron opened its Drilling Systems facility in Tuas South and the facility is the key hub in Asia for the maintenance and repair of Cameron’s full suite of drilling equipment, including control systems. It is also the regional base for servicing and recertification of blowout preventers (BOP), a critical pressure control equipment used in both surface and subsea oil and gas exploration.

The S$120mil investment completes Cameron’s aftermarket service offering in Asia, enabling the company to deliver total rig solutions to its regional customers.

It's East meets West theme this evening!

The guests were truly impressive this evening and very elaborate in their dressing. Let me see.. There were Journey to the West characters, Chinese vampires, Elvis Presley, the Pope, Cowboys and Cowgirls, Cleopatra and also a Chinese Fairy!

Everyone was all excited to start the evening and the energy level was building up! As it was also a farewell appreciation for their managing director, the organising committee put together a video montage and prepared a special gift with the well wishes and signatures of all employees.

After the event, everyone took to the dance floor! It was spectacular and awesome round up to a great night!

My Holiday Travel: Club Med Kani Maldives

Flight: Singapore Airlines SQ452 (Singapore - Male)

We took SQ452 from Singapore and departed at 8.45pm. The flight took about 4 hours and Male is 3 hours ahead of Singapore. Can you imagine when we got to the resort it was 2.30am in the morning!!??!! We were so tired and everywhere was dark, so we decided to turn in and get ourselves recharged.

Next morning, with dreamy eyes, I pulled open the curtains and exclaimed "Oh my goodness! It's beautiful! I am in paradise!"

Club Med Kani was totally awesome! Food, drinks, fun and entertainment. Everything is free flow and non stop! Now I'm recharged and ready to go home!

It has been a while since I last visited Garden Asia!! I love the outdoor nature and the flora scenery here!! Packing my gigs bag and my excitement and eagerness this morning, I made my way to this part of Singapore, where its tranquility and serenity have not been disturbed by the hustle and bustle of city life.

This morning, 300 staff and family members from Lend Lease joined in this event specially organised, in appreciation of the hard work put in by the staff and the understanding and support given by their families. As part of the health and well-being initiatives to promote healthier lifestyle and social well-being, staff and family members came together to spend some time indulging in the carnival activities, enjoy the breeze and sights of beautiful flowers and most importantly getting to know their colleagues and families better!

PS: This is my kind of life. A happy one. A meaningful one. And one where we connect closer to nature.
