Visit #MY SINGAPORE - Ours To CREATE, a special travelling SG50 exhibition by Singapore Discovery Centre, specially curated for Singaporeans by Singaporeans to celebrate 50 years of nationhood.

In conjunction with the nation's Jubilee year, Toa Payoh Central Community Club will be showcasing a Walk Down Memory Lane video featuring the long and rich history behind Toa Payoh estate. There will also be specially designed Lego sets of iconic places of Toa Payoh town, created by HDB and Lego enthusiasts, displayed for residents to enjoy!

Over 80 local and overseas enterprises attended the award presentation ceremony this evening. The awardees were presented three different accolades

2. Top 25 Prestige Award 2015
3. Asia Excellence Award 2015

The guest of honour graced the event, together with many senior executives. The beautiful ladies from Miss Singapore 2015 were present at the ceremony, adding much glamour and colours to the event.

Keat Hong Mid Autumn Celebration 吉丰庆中秋

Have you heard of Chang er, Hou Yi, Jade Rabbit and many more folklore of the Mid Autumn festival? Or probably heard of the wide variety of mooncakes, yum yum? From ice cream to chocolate, from traditional to modern mooncakes, the choices are amazing!

Tonight at Keat Hong, we broke the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of recycled bottles lanterns. A total of 2818, breaking the previous record of 2155! All the lanterns were made over three months by the residents and volunteers. Among the exciting activities this evening, we had the residents pomelo peeling and display competition where residents could get toether in groups of three to showcase their peeling and design skills.

Our pioneer generation has been instrumental in nation building over the last 50 years. This evening Taman Jurong get together with Mr Tharman, Mrs Tharman and the senior grassroots leaders is one of the many ways for us to show our appreciation to them. I like the Pioneer Generation Fund set aside by the government to help subsidize medical bills and expenses will continue to benefit many of our senior folks. Tonight I will do my best to give them an enjoyable evening!

In conjunction with the Welcome Party for Tiong Bahru View, grassroots Advisers for Tanjong Pagar GRC and Radin Mas SMC took the opportunity to launch their 5-year Masterplan. This exhibition was put together by Tanjong Pagar Town Council together with the various government agencies to cover all the projects that had been done in the last 5 years to improve the Town and what the residents can look forward to for the next 5 years. 3D-models of the new precincts within the Town as well as models of some of the upcoming Neighbourhood Renewal Programmes were showcased at the exhbition.








SG50 Celebrations - Singapore 50 Years of Independence & Golden Jubilee National Day 2015

Today is Singapore's National Day.

As Singapore celebrates SG50, 50 years of national building and independence, I am thankful for what the country is today and what the country has provided for me and my family. As an Emcee in Singapore, I am glad I have been a part and able to contribute to many of the great events this year.

Ushering in 2015 with big bang, I am honoured to have the chance to host one of the four live telecast countdown party with veteran host and radio DJ Vernetta Lopez. Jeanette Aw, Taufik Batisah and many artistes joined in the celebration too!

Chingay 2015
The Chingay 2015 is Asia's largest street parade and as it is also SG50, the parade was spectacular! I had the honour to co-host with veteran radio personality Brian Richmond and met Minister Lim Swee Say while hosting the post parade party!

I was also glad to be a part of the SG Heart Map initiative, where we encouraged Singaporeans to pen down their favourite places on the island. Top 50 places were selected to share with everyone!


Recognizing our Pioneer Generation 
As a multilingual Emcee, speaking in various dialects. English, Mandarin and Malay, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Pioneer Generation Package campaign to share the benefits of the Pioneer Generation Package with our Pioneer Generation. This great initiative is a budget set by the Singapore government to thank the pioneers for their contribution to the nation.

28th SEA Games in Singapore
After a 22 years hiatus, the SEA games once again returned to Singapore. I was glad I had the opportunity to ra ra everyone to cheer for our athletes!
