In conjunction with the Welcome Party for Tiong Bahru View, grassroots Advisers for Tanjong Pagar GRC and Radin Mas SMC took the opportunity to launch their 5-year Masterplan. This exhibition was put together by Tanjong Pagar Town Council together with the various government agencies to cover all the projects that had been done in the last 5 years to improve the Town and what the residents can look forward to for the next 5 years. 3D-models of the new precincts within the Town as well as models of some of the upcoming Neighbourhood Renewal Programmes were showcased at the exhbition.

Today is Singapore's National Day.

As Singapore celebrates SG50, 50 years of national building and independence, I am thankful for what the country is today and what the country has provided for me and my family. As an Emcee in Singapore, I am glad I have been a part and able to contribute to many of the great events this year.

The Chingay 2015 is Asia's largest street parade and as it is also SG50, the parade was spectacular! I had the honour to co-host with veteran radio personality Brian Richmond and met Minister Lim Swee Say while hosting the post parade party!

I was also glad to be a part of the SG Heart Map initiative, where we encouraged Singaporeans to pen down their favourite places on the island. Top 50 places were selected to share with everyone!

Recognizing our Pioneer Generation 

As a multilingual Emcee, speaking in various dialects. English, Mandarin and Malay, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Pioneer Generation Package campaign to share the benefits of the Pioneer Generation Package with our Pioneer Generation. This great initiative is a budget set by the Singapore government to thank the pioneers for their contribution to the nation.

Today's a great day for an evening event as we have a long weekend public holiday break from 7-10 August here in Singapore!

The guests were entertained by Singapore's popular entertainers showtime Suzie Wong and Happy Fei Fei! There were so much fun and laughter in the air! We also had long service awards, golf prize presentation and fun games and funny moments with yours truly. Thank you TEE Group!

Youth Corps Singapore is a national institution that supports youths who are keen to serve the community. As the catalyst for youth volunteers, it harnesses the energy and passion of youths to ignite positive change in society through community developmental projects.

Following Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's announcement of the setting up of a volunteer youth corps during the National Day Rally 2013, the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the National Youth Council (NYC) piloted the first intake of youth volunteers known as Aspirants in June 2014.

Today we are here to celebrate their successful completion of this one year programme. Well done Leaders!

This event was jointly organised by the Sengkang West Zone ‘K’ Residents' Committee (RC) and HDB. Grassroots leaders and fellow residents came together to get to know one another better! Grassroots Adviser Dr Lam Pin Min also joined us at the event.

Singapore emcee Richard Style brought about lots of fun and entertainment with the residents and their families. There were aplenty of activities, stage games and contests within the 3-hour event!

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS), was established in 1957 to provide persons with Cerebral Palsy and multiple disabilities with early intervention, special education, rehabilitation services, day activity centre programmes, vocational training and gainful employment in Singapore.

We are here at CPAS to launch the Steptember initiative to encourage more people to achieve 10,000 steps! Run by Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, the Steptember charity project challenges people to take 10,000 steps a day for 28 days straight in, yes, you guessed it, the month of September. Unlike many other charity challenges, Steptember is done in your own time. Just take 10,000 steps a day whenever you like, wherever you like, and log your steps online. 3M Step-up Charity Golf 2015

Event: 3M Step-up Charity Golf 2015

Today's charity event is the 2nd year running for 3M. They have kindly invited customers, suppliers and business partners to join in this worthy cause as they successfully raised 1,898 3M Health and Safety Packs for the elderly in Southeast Community Development Council district. Apart from this act of love and care for the society, 3M is also organising the Step-up challenge for the 3rd year, with a target of 6,000,000 steps pledged by people from all walks of life in the community and various organisations.

Well done 3M. The spirit of giving and caring is truly commendable!!
