Event: 123th Association of Professional Trainers Singapore Networking and Training Workshop

Delighted to be invited this evening to APTS monthly networking and training workshop to share emceeing experience and knowledge on audience engagement and the art of connecting and moving your audience. It was a pleasure meeting professional trainers and speakers!

APTS plays a significant role in contributing towards making Singapore the Global Education Hub. The key goal is to develop our own Singapore brand in Professional Training Certification with support also from government agencies such as the Ministry Of Manpower and Ministry Of Education. The Hub identity will be significantly strengthened when Singapore carries authority in subject matters. The uniqueness of APTS lies in the make up of its members. Today we have an increasing pool of experienced trainers from various industries coming together to share expertise and best practices. The monthly Networking & Training Workshops have been running successfully and receiving excellent feedback. The spirit of sharing, collaboration and friendship has not only attracted increasing number of practising trainers but aspiring ones as well.

Event: OCBC Group Audit Annual Dinner and Dance 2015

OCBC Group Audit staff across various countries Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China were gathered for a 2 day 1 night retreat at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour in Malaysia. I am glad to have been invited to host the evening dinner celebration.

We had many staff performances from the various departments and colleagues from around the region. It was awesome to see everyone putting their best in the performances to entertain their colleagues. In addition, we had games and ended the night with a finale mass dance. Check out the video below!

P&G Trade Retail Asia 2013 Conference - Teambuilding

Event: P&G Trade Retail Asia 2013 Conference - Teambuilding

Venue: Sentosa

About 50 SK-II brand ambassadors from various countries, including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia attended the P&G Trade Retail Asia 2013 conference held at Sentosa, Singapore. The half day teambuilding was specially organised to learn and share about the brand and several important messages as brand ambassadors.

As the lead facilitator for the teambuilding, it was important to ensure the messages were well-received by every participants. As always, I will highlight to all participants to focus on the objectives of each activity in the midst of enjoying the fun, the companionship and the spirit.

Group Activity

We were invited to organized a series of indoor and outdoor team-building activities at Bintan Lagoon Resort for a 2D1N Team-building cum retreat for all the staff. The focus was to strengthen the teamwork and team spirit through activities focusing on creativity, teamwork and communication.

The staff morale held up high and everyone was keen to participate in all the activities. Activities were designed to allow each team member to lead and also to cooperate. Unlike in a sports telematch, where teams win as a result of stronger physique finesse, these activities challenged a myriad set of diverse strengths and abilities of each team member. Teams whom did excellent in one activity did not necessary outperform in every other activity. Most importantly, at the end of the day, teams whom were faster in completing the tasks ended up taking the initiative to cheer and help the slower teams. That's the spirit of team-building!

With the fun, laughter and spirits held up high, the event rounded up with a sumptuous dinner celebration  with great sharing of the day's activities.

Well done everyone! I am glad to have been part of your retreat. Thank you and see you all again!
