Welcome to the most awaited segment of the Faculty Learning & Appreciation 2020. I am sure many lecturers have been looking forward to this celebration since the postponement of the dinner in March due to the COVID-19. This special circumstance has allowed for S.I.M to combine the 10th education conference with faculty appreciation and bringing it to you virtually at the comfort of your home. 

For lecturers who have participated in the past 1.5 days of keynotes and workshops, I hope you have gained much insights and are ready to thrive in age of digital learning. Since Circuit Breaker, many of you are thrusted into a situation where you had to move your classes online quickly and adapt to the new way of teaching. Thus, this event was put together with that in mind as we recognise your effort to uphold the student’s learning experience in the digital environment. 

Every year, the faculty appreciation dinner will be held to celebrate the lecturer’s achievements as well as show our appreciation to all of you for your efforts. Even though, we are unable to meet each other in person this year, but we are embracing the new normal and are meeting virtually to celebrate your achievements. In appreciation, a snack box is being delivered to you and we hope that you will enjoy the special treats that are specially prepared for you.
