Date: September 2013
Venue: Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore

Think Investments, think Solomon!

Solomon Alliance Management, together with their clients, celebrated the company's 4th anniversary at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The guests were treated to an exciting Tango dance opening number, followed by visual sand art performance by Mystifying Imran, whom illustrated the success of the company through his works.

In line with the celebration, the company's charity beneficiary, Singapore Children's Society, benefited from the generosity of the guests and the dollar-matching contribution from the company.

Thanks to the sponsorship from the business partners, some guests walked away with fabulous prizes from the photo match lucky draw - a unique and interesting technology-driven lucky draw format called SnapNow.

The great success of the event couldn't have been possible without the hard work and dedication by the organizing committee.

Cheers to more investment success ahead!

Mi Le Old Folks' Association Annual Charity Vegetarian Lunch 2013 弥勒老人会常年素食午宴2013

Event: Mi Le Old Folks' Association Annual Charity Vegetarian Lunch 2013 弥勒老人会常年素食午宴2013
Date: September 2013
Venue: Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1

I remember there is a Chinese saying that goes.. Its better to give than to receive (施比受更有福). This afternoon, together with Emcee Winston, participated in hosting a luncheon for 1000 senior citizens of all races. This event is held annually, and supported by many volunteers from all walks of life. This year the organizers have specially put together 2 luncheons for 2000 senior citizens guests, and the second luncheon will be held on 3 November 2013 at Sengkang.

To make sure the guests enjoyed the luncheon, the organizers put together a line-up of performances from singing of oldies and opera tunes to lively dances. Emcee Winston entertained and interacted with the audience, teaching cheers and sharing   jokes to get everyone going!

The event was a great success with the great help of all the volunteers. It wasn't easy to organize for 1000 guests, but it certainly wasn't impossible! Kudos to all the volunteers for ensuring that all our guests stayed dry despite the heavy rain. I am sure the guests appreciated from the bottom of their hearts!

有爱日行千里, 无爱寸步难行。公德无量。赞赞赞!

Emcee Winston did a great job. All the audience love him!!

Lubrizol Dinner and Dance 2013

Event: Lubrizol Dinner and Dance 2013
Date: August 2013
Venue: Amara Hotel, Singapore
What do you get when you have the entire company and their invited guests all dressed in afro wigs, shimmering shirts and blouses, completed with bell bottom pants or polka dot dresses?

It's Retro Rewind party time!

On a nice saturday evening, with me standing by at the DJ console. The only thing standing between me and showtime is the wonderful staff and their invited guests. Everyone was enjoying the pre-dinner fringe activities. With their retro outfits and all, it was photo-taking at its best!

Doors opened and guests filled the room. It's Showtime!

The evening was led by a uplifting welcome speech by Mr Paul Nai that set everyone all ready to party. Food was served shortly after followed by staff performance. Great performance by Matthew and Ah Goh, with singing, stand-up comedy and even self-composed songs! Following right behind was the lovely performance by renowned ventriloquist Patrick Wan.

Keeping the energy level up, I led the audience into a mass dance and transformed the entire ballroom into a mini dance hall, reminiscing the 70s and 80s with the ever popular human choo choo train!

Lucky draw was fantastic and winner after winner came onto the stage to receive their prizes with big bright smiles on their faces.

Of course, we didn't want to end the event with the usual thank you. It's Boogie Time!
